Leaf-shape Incense Holder Sundial

Incense is as ancient a timekeeping tool as the sundial. But does artificially defined time mean anything to an incense stick or a sundial? When incense burns out, we can no longer read the time from the sundial stamped on the incense holder. This incense may be freed from the bondage of human time as it burns and lives as some substances in eternity. So does the sundial, without the incense stick, it loses the timekeeping function. But the artificial time does not turn to ashes as the incense burns out…
